Fall

Well, a new season has arrived {we had one week of cool weather :-)} and change is upon us.  Emma has adjusted tremendously well to her new little brother, and we are all enjoying this new time together.  The holidays are also upon us, and we just want to savor and enjoy them!  {insert lots of Pinterest fall arts & crafts to come!}

Emma is such a big helper - her favorite activity is to help give baby Will a bath!  She helped me tonight in her Cinderella dress!  She seems to understand {most of the time} when Mommy is tied up holding or feeding Will and can't do exactly what Emma wants, when Emma wants it!  I am so very proud of her!  She is loving school - so we are so very thankful for that fun outlet for her!  We are out and about pretty well this time - with several park play dates and errands under our belt.  With having a 3 year old as well as a newborn this time - we can't just stay home {and go crazy}...so Will has been a trooper!

School!

Emma started her 3 day 3's preschool this year at the end of August.  She did great - and loves her new class and her new teacher [Mrs. Spears].  Most importantly - she loves having her buddy Zack in her class!  We are so proud of her going to her favorite school like a big girl!  

Swimming

We went to the beach this weekend while Daddy was on his annual golf trip - and spent a lot of time in the indoor pool!  Emma is doing great and is really "swimming" this year!  She brought along some buddies - Zack and Paige - who were right there with her swimming up a storm.  Enjoy a few of our favorite pics!

Gymnastics

Emma took her first "trial" gymnastics class this week!  Wasn't sure if she would enjoy it or cooperate - but she did and she absolutely loved it.  Got some great pics.  She got to do and try a lot of cool things! Enjoy!

Science Experiments [aka...Rainy Day]

Emma and I had a blast today doing "science experiments" that I found online.  We made bubbling volcanoes [baking soda, vinegar with food coloring], homemade lava lamps, and made colors move in milk with soap.  She had a great time....maybe will follow in Mommy's science foot steps!  We also painted our faces today - yes, I painted Emma's, and SHE painted mine!  So fun!

Beach Weekend

We spent Memorial Day Weekend at Daytona Beach with friends.  We went out on Friday and spent the evening just Emma, Daddy, and Mommy - and went putt-putt golfing.  Was a blast!  Emma loved "golfing with Daddy!" Then a bunch of our friends came out on Saturday and enjoyed our one sunny day!  We got a little beach time on Sunday - before TS Beryl brought in some much needed rain.  We had a great time, with great friends, and had some great food (Mommy enjoyed!!!)!  Enjoy a few of our favorite pictures!

Last Day of Preschool

Today was Emma's last day of her "2 Day Two's" preschool @ Maitland Community Preschool!  She had such a wonderful year - we will be sad to not see her little friends and awesome teachers weekly!  We are so proud of her though - what a difference in the sweet, precious, shy girl who started last August...she is so much more social and is learning so much!  We are excited for a wonderful summer - but will miss her class!
