Swimming!

So, our big news for the summer is that we are getting a POOL!!! We are so excited!!!! We've been thinking about it for about 2 years and we finally decided to do it!!! So, Emma Anne is enrolled in swim lessons. We thought she would love them, but so far she is not a fan! She is learning to float - and does very well - but cries for the majority of the lesson. She is taking lessons at the YMCA Downtown - M-F 10 minutes a day for 6 weeks!!! Wish us luck! Enjoy the preliminary pool pictures - we keep telling Emma what we're building in the back yard is a pool for her to swim!!! Hopefully she's as excited as Mom & Dad!

Easter

We had a lovely Easter celebration last weekend! Mommy and Daddy returned from a week ski trip to Montana on Saturday night (without Emma)...and were SOOO excited to hang out with our angel Emma on Sunday! We missed her SO much! She had a ball though while we were gone with MeMe and Pop Pop, and Granmom and Grandad! She went to the beach, the zoo, and did a lot of swimming! Emma loved her Easter dress, and had fun running around outside in the beautiful weather. Enjoy some pictures of our day!

We took Emma to Daytona Beach this weekend to enjoy some wonderful weather! She absolutely loved it! She ran around looking at seagulls, playing in the (freezing cold) water, and yes, eating sand! I think she actually thought that her toy shovel was a spoon to eat sand faster! Oh well, we all had a great day! Enjoy a few pictures!

Happy 1st Birthday Emma!

Happy 1st Birthday to our little angel Emma!

We cannot BELIEVE that she is one today! She had a fabulous birthday weekend...with all of her grandparents in town and an awesome party on Saturday! Emma had a blast - and was exhausted! Thanks to everyone who was a part of her special day! We have tons of pictures - so we picked a sample of our favorites from her party in the slideshow below. We just can't believe what a big girl she is! She cracked us all up all weekend! We love you Emma! Enjoy!

Emma 11.5 Months!!!

Emma has had a busy couple of weeks! She is 11.5 months old - and we just cannot believe that she is nearing her 1st Birthday! She is walking EVERYWHERE, and getting into everything! Emma, Granmom, and Mama went to the Sanford zoo last week, and Emma loved walking around. She was even able to see many of the animals...and especially liked the porcupines and the leopard! We also took some great pictures of her at home playing in the leaves and in her wagon, and on a picnic lunch at the park! Emma is starting to get her 3rd tooth. She is eating very well - although is less interested in pureed foods and more interested in finger foods...aka...our dinner! Enjoy some new pictures!

Bike Riding!

Emma went on her first bike ride today! We were super excited, but figured it would end up with tears and a short ride. However, to our surprise, she LOVED it!!! She left her helmet on and didn't seem to be bothered at all by it. And she like riding behind Daddy even in the chilly weather!

11 Months Old!

Miss Emma is officially 11 months old today! She is doing well - walking around faster and faster and dancing all the time! She went to Daytona Beach last weekend...and Dada took her swimming. She LOVED it! She was all smiles. MeMe and Pop Pop enjoyed visiting with her. Then we went to Cocoa on Sunday and took Emma to the Brevard Zoo. She had a blast - until a parrot bit her little thumb in the aviary exhibit! She loved the petting zoo with alpacas and goats - enjoy some hilarious pictures!
