Summer

Emma and I have been enjoying the warm weather - and the pool is starting to follow suit and warm up.  She is doing great swimming - remembering a lot of what she learned last year.  She is swimming almost all the way to the wall (to me) underwater with her goggles on - and loving it!  She holds up all her fingers and begs to swim that many more times to me!

We have also been having lots of fun with crafts!  Today, we made adorable handprint flowers {shhh, for Mother's Day}, as well as making a fairy garden {thanks for the inspiration MeMe!}!  Enjoy some pictures of our fun today...more pics and videos to come of swimming!

Easter Weekend

The McCully's had a wonderful Easter weekend. Our week started with an Easter Egg Hunt at Emma's school on Wednesday, followed by her class party! Lots of fun - Emma loved running around finding eggs - and she found a ton! Then we had our annual church FPCO Easter Egg Hunt and butterfly release on Friday morning. Luckily the storms held out until after we were done - and she had a great time helping set up and finding LOTS of eggs! Then we went to church on Sunday and enjoyed the Easter service - and then headed to Cocoa for "linner." Hope everyone had a great weekend!

Skiing

I think the pictures show it all - Emma is a ski bunny!!! We had a wonderful trip to Montana - a late season/last minute trip to get some much needed R&R and snow in this year! Emma was a natural - getting geared up and actually going skiing by herself! She went about 100 yards with Daddy running in front of her to catch her - would get to the end and want to do it again. She also went on a few lifts and down a few runs with Daddy holding her between his legs. She loved it - as did Mommy & Daddy. Enjoy!

Garden

Emma and I (with the help of Uncle Michael) started a garden last week! We got a nice wooden grow box, and filled it with our finds from the garden store. We're going to grow lettuce (red and regular romaine), peppers (green and yellow), tomatoes (roma & yellow), broccoli, brussels sprouts, cucumbers, and strawberries. Emma keeps asking if the strawberries are red yet so she can pick them! We had so much fun collecting everything and putting it all together!!! More pictures to come as we get some growth!

Princess Birthday (Round 1)

We celebrated Emma's 3rd Birthday this weekend with family at Disney World! We started off at our house with cake and presents (backwards, right!), and then headed out to the Grand Floridian for dinner with Cinderella and Prince Charming! Emma loved it! She had such a wonderful day! Daddy, Mommy, and Emma stayed one night out at Disney, and then went to the Magic Kingdom today! Not sure how to top this birthday!!!

Beach in January

Emma and I went to the beach to take some preliminary 3 year old birthday shots!!! Got some great colors in the background sky of the sunset - and Emma of course had fun collecting sea shells and chasing birds. And, we got a few really cute pictures...Enjoy!

Strawberries

Well - it's that time of year again! We headed to the strawberry patch with Katherine, Claire, and Lindsay today! What fun! And what a difference a year makes. Emma was very interested in picking the strawberries this time [even more than last year], and was very serious about it! We pulled into the parking area and Emma said "Mommy, I see lots of strawberries." She also insisted on wearing her pink cowgirl boots for the task! She knew to pick the bright red ones, and was "teaching" Katherine [only 3 mos younger than she] which ones to pick. They even got a lesson on picking from Pappy! Enjoy! Now off to make a strawberry pie!
