4th Ultrasound
This ultrasound was a recheck of Emma's arrhythmia. It seems to be resolving, as we are now hearing 1-2 skipped beats every 5 minutes, which is much less frequent than initially! Although improved, the doctors want to continue our weekly doctor appointments, and now do monthly ultrasounds to keep monitoring Emma's progress. Everything else on the ultrasound looked good - and she's still a girl!!! She weighs approximately 2 lbs, 5 oz, and her little foot is 2 inches long! We LOVE the 4D images - she is so precious!!!
3rd Ultrasound
This ultrasound was to check a fetal arrhythmia that was heard at our last doctor's appointment with the doppler. A specialist did this ultrasound, and diagnosed PAC's (Premature Atrial Contractions), at a rate of 1-3 per 4-5 minutes. Initially (at our doctor's office), these abnormal skipped heart beats were noted ~ every 5th beat. 99% of these resolve on their own by birth - but we are starting weekly office visits to monitor! We will keep everyone posted.
