Emma's First Thanksgiving!

Emma had a wonderful 1st Thanksgiving....and we are just so thankful to have her in our lives! Our festivities started with our annual seafood feast in Daytona on Wednesday night at MeMe and Pop Pops! She had so much fun getting to visit with Uncle Bryan, Uncle Michael, Victor, Sue, Moose, as well as MeMe, Pop Pop, and Grandmom and Grandad! We went out on the beach on Thursday morning, and got some great pictures - Emma just loved the wind blowing in her face & hair! We then headed to Cocoa for our Thanksgiving feast later on Thursday. Emma joined us at the table in her antique high chair, and ate turkey and vegetable baby food. She loved it! She tried sweet potato casserole and cranberry sauce - but did not care for either :-) In fact, she actually spit the cranberry sauce immediately back out at Grandad! We spent the night, and Emma got to see the space shuttle land on Friday morning! What a fun weekend... Enjoy a few pictures of our Thanksgiving!

Emma Meets Santa!

We took Emma to the Millenia Mall yesterday, and she got to meet Santa Claus! She was hilarious, as usual. Mommy thought she might be cranky and warned the photographers - but as soon as they whisked her away into Santa's lap - we watched in awe as she laughed hysterically and smiled - posing for the camera like a natural! She is too funny! Enjoy the pics!

This video was so cute we had to share it! A couple of nights ago - we had some difficulty feeding Casey. You see, as soon as you put his food down, Emma makes a beeline for it. So, we tried feeding him in the laundry room with the gate - no way said Casey. We finally had to feed him outside - so Mommy was out back with him. Emma saw Mommy out through the back door, and proceeded to crawl over and watch - and then give kisses through the window. It was SOOOO adorable. Enjoy!

Here are 2 videos for those of you who are out of town - so you can see Miss Emma clapping! She is hilarious anymore. She is pulling up on EVERYTHING - including Daddy's leg hair! She is clapping, waving, and now clicking with her tongue! So cute! Enjoy...

8 Months Old!

Emma is now 8 months old and is on the go!!! She is now speed crawling and pulling up to stand constantly! She is also starting to "walk" along the couch while holding on. Emma started clapping this week as well...it is so cute! Needless to say, she is now into EVERYTHING! But it is so much fun to watch her explore her surroundings. Emma is also getting 2 little teeth! And, she is finally saying "Mamama!"

Emma had a great weekend with Grandmom and Grandad in Cocoa while Mommy and Daddy went on a marriage retreat...she got to go swimming, stroller rides in the breeze, and play with lots of leaves (a favorite of Emma's evidently!). She is now visiting with Granny from Alabama, and is having a ball going for lots of stroller walks and swinging in her new swing outside.

Emma and Momma and Dada are excited for Thanksgiving (which is around the corner), as Emma can't wait to see Uncle Bryan and Uncle Michael and to show off all of her new tricks!!! Enjoy some new pics in the meantime!

Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween! Emma enjoyed her first Halloween - dressed up as a butterfly! She was so cute - and she loved wearing her costume with wings! We got some great pictures of trick or treating around our neighborhood, and of Emma at our friends Kim and Tom's house playing with their golden retriever Peyton!
