How old is Emma?

Disney

Well, we broke down and finally did it. We bought Disney Annual Passes. We took Emma for the first time yesterday with our new passes - and had a blast! She got to ride the train, eat popcorn, meet "Mickey Mouse," ride the carousel, ride It's A Small World [well she was asleep for this one], see a parade, see fireworks, ride the monorail...and on, and on, and on! She was hilarious about Mickey Mouse - we saw them all performing in front of the castle, and Emma wanted to go up [right then and there] and meet them. She cried when it was over and we walked away. So we went to Epcot to let her meet the characters again. When she saw Mickey [while we were still in line] she waved and said "Hi Mickey." She hugged and blew kisses to all of the characters - so sweet! Enjoy a few pictures!

{New Year's Day - "take my picture, Daddy!"}

{@ the circus with Daddy & Mommy}

Well, it's been a while since we've had time to post. It's been quite a ride since Christmas, but we are doing great and just enjoying this stage with Emma [well, most of the time!]. We are starting to get a taste of some temper tantrums...but most of the time Emma is as sweet as can be. She LOVES going to the park [any park] to play, playing in her kitchen, and playing with her train set! She is talking non-stop now and cracks us up. She has also really gotten into Veggie Tales movies, and Leap Frog learning movies ("watch ABC's please!")! And, we got to go to the Circus at the new Arena!

Someone is also getting close to another birthday [which we cannot believe], so we have been talking a lot about birthday parties and such. I asked Emma one day what she wanted for her birthday [after a lengthy explanation of birthday parties etc]...she thought really hard, and at last said "cake!" Too much!

We also went to Disney last weekend thanks to our friends the Prunty's! We stayed at the Animal Kingdom Lodge and went to the Magic Kingdom and Epcot. Emma had a ball...and got to meet 3 princesses and many characters. All I can say is that she is a "little John," as her Mommy was NOT a fan of characters as a child...but Emma loved it! Funny story - as we were enjoying our balcony at the hotel, Emma was going in and out, and went in, closed the door and locked us out! Luckily - Daddy had his cell phone, and after 10 minutes with no success of coaxing Emma to unlock the door, we finally had to call the front desk and ask for help! How embarrassing - but hilarious!!! Well, enjoy a few of our favorite pics from the last month!
